Just getting myself ready here in case I leave Goodreads
SPOILER ALERT!
The Girl in the Clockwork Collar - Kady Cross

Finley and the gang travel to the States after Jasper has to go there with the authorities to confront his past. However, when the group goes to the authorities to find him, they don't have Jasper. They find out that he's in the custody of a criminal he used to work for. He's only doing what his old leader wants him to do because he's threatening the life of the girl he loves, Mei. Mei has a collar around her neck, and if Jasper does anything wrong, it will tighten and could kill her.

Finley and Emily sneak around and try to get Jasper, but Griffin starts freaking out and I was hoping he would confess his love for Finley, but then he didn't. There was so much sexual tension between Finley and Griffin and there was some between Emily and Sam, but not as much. So much sexual tension!!

Jasper finds out that Mei is just using him and doesn't love him. But he meets up with Wildcat, an old flame, and she helps him save Mei. I sense a love rekindling in the future! Griffin accidentally kills Mei, which didn't make me too sad. She was mean to poor Jasper! Jasper decides to stay in the US to visit his family and the rest of the group goes back to England.

Finley

Still amazing! She wasn't really the focus of this book, but she still played a big role. She's still one of my favorite female lead characters!!!

Griffin

He just needs to profess his love for Finley and she'll say that she feels the same way and they can live happily ever after!!

Jack

He wasn't around much in this book, but he was still a sexy bad boy. Even though he appeals to me cause he's tall, dark, and handsome, I'm still Team Griffin.

Emily

She's still one of my favorite best friends/supporting female characters! She doesn't have a huge part in this book, but she's still important. She's a sassy little Irish lass!!

Sam

He's still an emotionally-constipated big oaf. He's starting to admit his feelings for Emily, so that's good. I love his overprotectiveness!!

Jasper

This book is pretty much all about him and Mei. I felt so bad for him. He risks his life to save Mei, and then finds out that she doesn't love him and has been using him. But I think he should get together with Wildcat. I SHIP IT!!

Mei

She was a terrible person and it didn't make me sad that she died. Am I heartless? Most likely. However, Jasper can do much better.

Overall, I am still loving this series and can't wait to read the rest of the books!! There are going to be five but only three are out so far and the fourth one comes out in May 2014!!! YAAAYYYY!!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Hana - Lauren Oliver

We don't know much about Hana. Pretty much all we know is that she's rich, was willing to break the rules, and was Lena's best friend. What we don't know is that she was the reason Lena and Alex's escape wasn't successful. She helped them with the planning, but she then decided to report them to the authorities.

Hana realizes that although Lena might not be going to parties and listening to illegal music like her, but she's doing something much worse: she's in love. Hana is a little jealous of Lena and everything she's experiencing. This novella is all about how Hana's life is changing and how she's trying to navigate through everything.

Overall, this novella is great and emotional and brings a new perspective to all of the events of Delirium. I can't wait to finish this trilogy and see how everything comes together. I'm so excited!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Something Strange and Deadly - Susan Dennard

I had REALLY high hopes for this book. It's steampunk, historical, and has zombies. That HAS to be a winning combination. Plus, the cover is super pretty and I feel like this cover won't lie to me. And I was right! This book was amazing and suspenseful and I got really emotional!!

Eleanor's father is dead and her brother is away traveling and can't be found. Because of this, her mother is determined to marry her off to a young, rich man. When Eleanor meets a boy that meets the criteria, her mother is dead-set on them getting married. Sure, Clarence is nice, but he has a lot of secrets he won't tell Eleanor.

She decides to get help finding her brother and meets Daniel, Joseph, and Jie. She soon falls in love with Daniel, and after lots of bantering and some flirting, he tells her that he doesn't feel the same way. That part made me really emotional. Joseph is the leader of the group that has to power to control the zombies and Jie is a Chinese girl, pretending to be a boy, and Joseph's assistant.

Eleanor gets in contact with her brother and when he comes back, he tells her that he is the Necromancer and is the one controlling the zombies. He kills Clarence and his friends because they made fun of Elijah in school. The power consumes him and he eventually dies. Eleanor, Joseph, Daniel, and Jie have to clean up his mess and stop the zombies. They fix everything, but Eleanor loses her hand in the process. The trio leaves while Eleanor is recovering in the hospital.

Eleanor

I thought she was a great character and I just wanted her to be happy, but sad stuff just keeps happening. Her mother is trying to marry her off, she meets a guy and she thinks he likes her but then he dies, her brother comes back but then he dies too, the guy she likes tells her he doesn't feel the same way, and the guy she likes and her friends leave soon after she gets close with them. I wanted to hug her.

Elijah

I was hoping that when he came back that everything would be good, but then he messed everything up by raising zombies, killing a bunch of people, and then dies.

Daniel

I liked him at first, but then he breaks Eleanor's heart. What a jerk. I bet Eleanor could do better anyway.

Clarence

I kinda had a bad feeling about him, and I had a love-hate relationship with him. Sometimes I liked him, cause he really seemed to like Eleanor, but then I didn't because he kept so many secrets and bullied her brother.

Joseph

I thought that he was a great guy and I really hope that Eleanor meets him again so she can learn more about zombies and find out what she can do, if she can become a necromancer like her brother.

Jie

I thought she was so cool! She chooses to dress up and cut her hair like a boy so that she can have more freedom. I'm not sure if I would be able to shave part of my head like her though.

Overall, I thought this book was amazing and I can't wait to read the next book! I have high hopes for the sequel, so it better not let me down!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Storm - Brigid Kemmerer

This book was sexy. Like... really SEXY!

Too much? Probably.

But there is so much sexy in this book!! Four sexy brothers and a fifth sexy guy that may or may not be bad!!! What's not to love!?!?

I just felt like that the entire time! It was just SOOOOO sexy!

I feel like this review will just be me talking about how this book was full of hotness and how I can't wait for the rest of the series. So I guess I should try to finish up this post.

Becca

She was sassy and did what she wanted to. I felt really bad for her though because her ex-boyfriend spread bad rumors about her being a slut after they broke up, and then he tries to rape her towards the end of the book. But I still thought that she was great!

Chris

I love me some sexy boys. I am in love. Well... maybe lust. But he was so hot and I just wanted to pull him out of the book and have him all to myself!

Gabriel and Nick

Two words: sexy twins. Nick was more calm and level-headed, whereas Gabriel was more rash and didn't think things through. I don't think I could choose one. I like them both!

Michael

I didn't find him as attractive, but that doesn't mean that he wasn't. He was the older brother so I think he tried a little to hard to keep everyone safe than be their brother.

Quinn

I usually love the main character's best friend, but I didn't like Quinn. I don't know why, but I just didn't. Maybe I'll like her later.

Hunter

Sexy bad boy. He was tattoos and piercings and I love both of those! So much hotness in one book!

Overall, this book was super sexy and I need to read the other books to continue the hotness! I can't wait!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Winter's Passage - Julie Kagawa

Another novella, another short review. This short story takes place when Meghan is going to the Unseelie Court with Ash. It fills the gap that happens between book one and two.

I got really annoyed with Ash. He was just all distant and acted like he didn't care about Meghan. He should have made it known that he cared about her since he wouldn't be able to show her feelings once they got to the Unseelie Court. Don't be a jerk doucheface! But Meghan was also kinda needy. I don't like needy girls. Then this wolf comes in and tries to kill Ash because Oberon told him to. But then Meghan tells the wolf that she's going with Ash by choice so it leaves. They also see Puck, who is in a coma thing in a tree, on the way.

Overall, this was a good little filler and I can't wait to read the last book of the series. This review also became longer than I planned it to!

SPOILER ALERT!
Dearly, Beloved - Lia Habel

I absolutely LOVED this book!!!!!

(I didn't know Kristen Stewart could show emotion!!)

I just loved this book SOOOOOOO much and I can just go on and on about how Ms. Habel is an amazing author.

At the end of the first book, it seems like everything ends well and is OK, but it's NOT!! A new disease, known as "The Laz" is spreading and no one knows how it started! Of course I wanted some more Nora/Bram lovin', but there was still some crazy stuff going on. There was some towards the end so I was happy. I was sad that Pamela and Coalhouse didn't end up together. I shipped them towards the end of the first book, but they didn't happen...

There was some crazy shit that happens. Michael and Vespertine are just crazy and evil and I wanted to hit them! Michael just goes crazy and wants to kill zombies and kill Bram and make Nora watch. Boy, you be cray. Seriously. Get some help! And Vespertine just hates everyone, especially Nora. Maybe her and Michael should just get together and die. I'd like that. Also, Renfield was too good for Vespertine. Sure, I felt a little bad for her, but not too bad. She doesn't deserve any sympathy. And of course I loved Tom and Chas. And Baldwin and Beryl.

I just have to say that I'm REALLY sad that there is not going to be a third book. I love this series and Ms. Habel and I just want to cry. Ms. Habel posted a message about how she doesn't think she could make a third book because she has despression and hasn't gotten much support and not too many readers. It makes me so sad because she's so talented! She deserves SOOOOOO many more readers!!

I think I've said everything I need to about the characters...

Overall, this book was amazing and kept me reading and there won't be a third book!!!!! Maybe I'll get over it, but probably not. I really hope that one day she continues the story, but I'm not getting my hopes up...

SPOILER ALERT!
Languish: A Haunting Violet novella - Alyxandra Harvey

This was a cute little extra short story that happens after the events of Haunting Violet. Since its a short story, this will be a short review.

Violet is working on her medium skills at Lord Jasper's manor. Colin is also there working as a gardener. Tabitha is living there since her father is away and her uncle is in prison. I was wishing that there was a little more Violet/Colin stuff going on, but it was still good. Oh, and Violet's mother is currently a mistress. She has such high hopes.

Overall, this was a great little extra story to go with the novel. It was cute and it still had a plot. Maybe I'll read some more of Ms. Harvey's books.

SPOILER ALERT!
Annabel - Lauren Oliver

So this was just a short little filler that goes before Delirium, so this will just be a short and sweet little review!

We don't know too much about Lena's mother, Annabel, but we learn about the time when she was a teenager until after she gave birth to Lena and her sister, Rachel. She met her husband, Conrad, when she was going to get a fake cure mark on her neck. She fell in love with him instantly, but he was already cured. He eventually becomes one of her match choices, so she chooses him. She also knew from the beginning that Lena would be different. I felt really emotional during this novella. It's like an emotional rollercoaster!!

Overall, this was a great little filler to teach us about Annabel and hear her story. It was great and emotional and now I have high hopes for the last book!!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Dreaming Anastasia - Joy Preble

I really wanted to like this book and I had high expectations sinse it is about the Romanov's. It also only has a little more than 2,000 ratings so I wanted to support this book. Too bad that I can't say that I loved it.

This was kind of a The Raven Boys redue. I was so confused during most of the story, and when I thought I finally understood something, something new came up. I didn't really understand the plot and it was confusing with all of the point of view changes.

Anne

I feel like she was just a flat character. There should have been more to her since she was the main character, but I was just kinda bored with her. I guess I did sort of like her though because she was a dancer.

Ethan

He was sort of a sexy, old, bad boy. I mean he's been like 18 since 1918, so he was kinda like Edward. Not a good thing. I also had no clue about what he was supposed to do and his role in the book. I also didnt know if he was in love with Anastasia, cause it seemed like he was, but he was also interested in Anne.

Anastasia

I understand that Baba Yaga stole her away the night her family was murdered, but I didn't understand he role in anything. Why was she still alive?

Victor

He confused me, too. He's Anastasia's half-brother and Anne's great-great-grandfather. He's also been immortal since 1918 and I'm guessing he's supposed to be in his 20s. I just had no clue what he was supposed to do.

Overall, when I first picked up this book, I thought the premise was really cool. After reading it, I'm not too sure what I was thinking in the first place. Maybe I need to finish the series to understand everything, but finishing this series is not at the top of my priority list.

SPOILER ALERT!
Haunting Violet - Alyxandra Harvey

I'm so happy that I finally read this book!! It sounded like such a cool idea and I loved everything about it! Violet helps her mother perform fake seances. Violet feels terrible about doing this and stealing people's money. She works with a boy named Colin to make these fake seances happen. He doesn't like doing them, but he is an orphan who needs money.

After performing so many fake seances, Violet doesn't believe in ghosts or mediums, but after having encounters with the ghost of a girl her age, she starts to believe. She must find the girls killer so the girl can finally be at peace. With help from Colin and a friend, Elizabeth, she has encounters with many more ghosts and almost dies multiple times. She finds out that the girl's killer is near her and will do anything to kill Violet, too.

Violet

I thought that she was great, but I also felt so bad for her. Her mom was making her pretend to be someone she's not and is being forced to have a relationship with a guy who doesn't know the truth. Then when he finds out that her mother is a fake medium and was born out of wedlock, he drops her because her mother tells her to. He cares about her, but he cares more about how other people think of him. But this girl was strong and got over it!!

He didn't deserve her anyway!

Colin

I love me a sexy Irish boy. I really do. I knew that him and Violet would get together. They pretty much grew up together and he cared about her so much and they were just so cute!! He thought that she deserved better than him, but she knew he was perfect!

Celeste

She was Violet's rude mother that I could not stand! She just lied all the time and would tell Violet what to do, but she didn't follow her own rules. She ends up becoming a mistress to some young lord, and she was so proud of herself. She got the life that she always wanted.

Rowena

She was the ghost that Violet had to help. She almost gets Violet killed because Violet has to help her. But she eventually gets put to rest and becomes happy.

Elizabeth

She was Violet's best friend that didn't care that Violet was in a lower class than her. She also believed Violet when she said she could see ghosts. She was a great friend! I also loved that she didn't care about being a proper young woman and likes to eat!

Overall, I thought that this was a great book! I always get a little worried about stand alones because they might not develop the plot and characters as much as a series. I hope to read more books by this author!

SPOILER ALERT!
Princess of Glass - Jessica Day George

I was really excited that there was a sequel to Princess of the Midnight Ball. I loved that book so much and I was really sad because I didn't think that there were any other books. Turns out I was wrong! I had really high hopes for this book! It wasn't as good as the first book, but it was still pretty good. I thought that it was a great retelling of Cinderella.

Poppy is sent to another kingdom where her father hopes that she will find a husband. There, she meets Eleanor, a maid at the house. Eleanor, with help from the Corley, an evil witch, she essentially becomes Cinderella. She wears glass slippers and beautiful gowns and gets to go to balls. She catches to eye of Christian, a prince, who was interested in Poppy. Christian becomes obsessed with Eleanor and forgets about Poppy. Poppy then has to save him from Eleanor and the magic she is using.

Poppy

She was strong just like her sister Rose in the previous book. Although she is interested in Christian, she helps save him for his safety.

Christian

I liked him at first, but then he became an idiot. He became so obsessed with Eleanor and she was all he could think about. Christian's just lucky that Poppy would still take him.

Eleanor(a)/Ella

She was from a noble family, but had to become a maid when her parents died. She was born Eleanora but went by Eleanor as a maid. When she went to the balls, she went by Ella, hoping that no one would recognize her. For no reason, she hates Poppy. I have no clue why, but she hates her so much. She was also a whiny brat.

Marianne

She was a great best friend to Poppy. She believed what Poppy had to say and didn't call her crazy. She wanted to help save Christian.

The Corley

I guess she's like the Fairy Godmother, but the evil version. I guess it's good that I hated her!

Overall, this was a good sequel and it continues the story of the princesses and is another retelling of a fairy tale. I can't wait to read the third book!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Crossed - Ally Condie

This book moved sooooooooo slooooooowlyyyyyyyy!!!

I think I would read this book before I went to bed because it would put me to sleep. There was so much going on with Cassia and Ky and Xander and The Rising and The Society... I couldn't keep track of everything. I was excited to read Ky's POV but he was so angsty and crap.

Cassia

She is still SOOOOO annoying. She was just never happy and I couldn't handle her complaining. Shut up, kid!!!

Ky

I thought that he wouldn't be so angsty, but I was wrong. He was almost at Edward-level angst. Grow a penis!!

Xander

I feel bad for him because he still thinks that Cassia loves him and I will take him and make him happy. He deserves better.

Indie

I don't trust her. I just don't trust her.

Overall, this was so slow and I don't have much hope for the third book. I have a feeling I know what's gonna happen, but I don't really care all that much.

SPOILER ALERT!
Prophecy of the Sisters (Prophecy of the Sisters Trilogy, Book I) - Michelle Zink

This book kinda let me down. I had really high hopes and I thought that this would be a great book. It wasn't. It was meh. It sort of felt like I was reading The Raven Boys again. There was so much going on and I didn't understand. I was so confused and when I thought I understood something, another thing happened and I was confused again. Just a book full of confusion.

Lia

I wanted to feel bad for her because her sister was terrible and she didn't know what to do, but I was so confused. I was just trying to figure out what had happened.

Alice

She was a terrible sister. She's totally cool if Lia dies and she causes Henry, their younger brother, to die. I don't like her, but then again I didn't like her from the beginning.

Henry

He was Lia and Alice's only living close relative and Alice lets him die!!!! I wanted him to live!!

Luisa/Sonia

I would have seperate things for them, but I feel like they were the same. They both were keys to help Lia fulfill the prophecy. They were better than Lia.

Overall, I really wanted to like this book, I really did. It's not very popular and there aren't many reviews. Half the time I didn't know if they were in New York or England. Turns out it was New York. I don't think it's likely that I'll continue the series.

SPOILER ALERT!
Scarlet - Marissa Meyer

This was just as good as the first book. I was worried that it might fall flat, but it didn't. I was not dissapointed!! I loved Scarlet so much! She wasn't pathetic or wimpy! She was strong just like Cinder. Scarlet has fiery red, curly hair, wears jeans and a red hoodie, and uses a gun. She is badass.

I loved how Scarlet wasn't scared like how Little Red Riding Hood is. Ms. Meyer makes some amazing female characters. She's amazing.

Cinder

She's not in the book too much, but she's still amazing. That's all I can say. She's amazing.

Wolf (Z/Ze'ev)

I like him. I REALLY like him. I didn't really like that he was kinda lying to Scarlet, but I still love him. I love me some sexy fighter boys.

Scarlet

As you read before, you know how much I loved her. I really hope that she's in the next book like Cinder was in this one.

Kai

I'm still mad at him. Now he doesn't like Cinder that much because he can't accept her for who she is!!!! What a stupid boy.

Queen Levana

She's still a terrible person. She better not be with Kai. I hope she dies and Cinder can take over the job.

Carswell

I know he won't end up with Scarlet, because she's with Wolf. And I doubt that he'll be with Cinder. I just don't see it. Maybe he'll be with Cress...

Overall, this was still just as amazing as the first and I can't wait to read the third and fourth books!! I have high hopes Ms. Meyer!! Don't let me down!!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Onyx - Jennifer L. Armentrout

Even hotter than the first book. It's so nice to read a young adult book that will actually have sexual tension. I feel like a lot of young adul books dance around the topic and pretend like it doesn't happen.

A love triangle happens in this book, but it didn't really annoy me. Of course I wasn't happy that Katy was spending a lot of time with Blake. But she can do whatever she wants. I did like Daemon's overprotectiveness and how it became obvious that he really cared about Katy. Daemon's protective side is pretty attractive!

Katy

Still just as awesome as she was before. She wasn't totally on board with Daemon's connection thing after they couldn't get along before. She liked seeing Daemon squirm, as did I. It makes him sexy when he's uncomfortable.

Daemon

So sexy when he's nervous. It was nice seeing him not be so cool and get uncomfortable and overprotective. I'm in love.

Dee

Still an amazing best friend character. I really liked how we got to see her relationship with her boyfriend, too. She is still one of my favorite best friend characters.

Blake

He's still pretty cute, but I still prefer Daemon. I just don't trust him.

Overall, I still love this series and I can't wait to read the rest of the series! I know that this review is shorter, but... whatever!

SPOILER ALERT!
The Elite - Kiera Cass

This was even more laughable than the first. I feel like so many people are totally into this series and really can't predict who America will be with. I think it's pretty obvious. I also felt like this book was really unnecessary. I feel like this trilogy could be made into a stand alone. Like I said before, the ending is obvious and Ms. Cass could have saved so many trees by not adding useless filler crap.

This book is just SOOOOOOOOOO aggravating. America whines all the time and is never happy. When she had to find a problem to fix, she couldn't think of anything. Really? You just spent the entire first book complaining about how your life was terrible. Then she thinks that Maxon will wait until she's ready and won't spend any time with the other girls. And she also expects Aspen to wait for her. He's probably having sex with the maids or something. This is such a stupid, useless love triangle.

America/Maxon/Aspen

That's all I have to say.

Marlee

She's the only redeemable character in this book. She does what she wants and chooses to be with one of the guards.

Overall, this book was stupid and useless and another trainwreck that I would like to blow up in a ball of flames. I hope America is the first to die in that trainwreck.
