Just getting myself ready here in case I leave Goodreads
SPOILER ALERT!
Divergent - Veronica Roth

When I started reading this book, I wasn't so sure about it. It sounded great, but I've read a lot of dystopian. But after finding out that it would be made into a movie, I decided that I had to read it. And I'm happy that I made that decision.

This book took so many twists and turns that I was riding on the edge of my seat. There were so many intense scenes that made me so emotional. I think Ms. Roth got some lessons from Ms. Rowling about killing off characters. There were some that I didn't really care that got killed, but a lot of their deaths made me so emotional. Like Albert, Christina's boyfriend (I can't remember his name), and Tris' parents. I feel like I had my heart ripped out, stomped on, then shoved down my throat.

So many feels and I can't handle them! After reading this book, I was on the verge of crying. I was getting teary and I didn't want to start crying because my family would look at me weird.

Tris

She went through so much and I just wanted to hug her! A lot of the people she cares about die and it was so sad! If I were her I would have broke down crying right away. I do have to say that I don't think the actress for the movie is a good fit. I don't think she'll be very good.

Four

I have another book boyfriend. He was strong, but he was also very caring and loved Tris. I had a feeling that he was Tobias, and when we found out that he was, I felt so smart.

Caleb

I thought that it was kind of weird that he was her older brother and they were like only 9 months apart. It's also weird because the actor who plays him in the movie was the boyfriend of the actress in that movie who plays Tris in this movie.

Christina

I really hope that she didn't die because she became Tris' best friend. I know that her boyfriend dies that that was so sad because they cared about each other so much.

Albert

He was like the really awkward guy friend that wants to get out of the friend zone. I was sad when he died though. It's so sad to think that he killed himself.

Drew

He was the douchebag that hated Tris. He and a couple other guys attack her and try to kill her. I was hoping that he would die.

Tris' Parents

It was so sad that they died! If they were supposed to die could they have waited til the second book. Please?

Overall, this book was a rollercoaster of feels and I can't wait to get back on it when I read the next book! In my psych class we learned about divergent and convergent thinking and I had a little fan girl moment in my head.

SPOILER ALERT!
Darkness Becomes Her (Gods & Monsters #1) - Kelly Keaton

I was really sad that I didn't get the edition with the really pretty cover. I loved the face and hair on the other cover. But this cover still looks cool.

I loved Ari. She was so bad-ass and didn't take crap from everyone. She was strong and independent and she knew what she wanted to do. Yet she was also caring and loved her adopted parents.

I thought the plot was great and it made sense to me. Ari trusts her gut through everthing she does. And when she meets Sebastian, he doesn't really distract her. Yes, she's attracted to him, but she still works to what she wants to do.

Ari

I thought she was a great female character. She didn't let a boy distract her and she still worked towards her goal of finding out who she is. I can't wait to see how she grows in the other books.

Sebastian

He was very swoon-worthy. I do love my tall, dark, and handsome boys. I just got really mad at him when Ari's hair gets turned into snakes and he totally freaks out. He doesn't accept her even though Ari accepted him when he said that he was a vampire/warlock.

Violet

She was adorable. She was like a little dark vampire fairy. So cute. I really hope that Ari can save her!

Crank

I also loved her! She is so sassy and independent even though she's young. I can't wait to see how see grows in the books!

Athena

I didn't know that Athena would be so mean. Yes, I have read the story of Athena turning Medusa into a Gorgon. And I couldn't stand her. She punishes Medusa for something that she didn't cause.

Overall, I can't wait to read the rest of the series! I hope to read the next book soon because I can't wait to see what happens! I have high hopes!!

SPOILER ALERT!
City of Ashes - Cassandra Clare

I was planning on waiting a little while to write this review. But I need to write it NOW!!! I have so much to get off of my chest.

I saw about a million comparisons between these books and the Harry Potter series. I decided to look over them. But after reading some reviews, I have to come to terms with the fact that this is a Harry Potter rip off. Here is everything that I couldn't stand about this book:

1. In HP, normal people are called Muggles, in TMI, they are called Mundanes.

2. Clary is Ginny. Yes, she is. Don't lie.

3. Jace is Draco. Yep, don't say anything else.

4. Jace and Clary are pining over each other. And they are SIBLINGS!!!! EWWWWWWWW

5. Clary just learned about this world, and she's already amazing at runes.

6. Alec feels totally uncomfortable admitting his feelings for Magnus. Just tell everyone. Get over it!

7. Clary treats Simon like crap. He's been her friend forever and she's like "OK, we can date" and then she ignores him. She's too busy being in love with her brother.

8. Jace totally believes everything Valentine says, even though Valentine's lies have so many holes.

9. How is Jace's dickhead-ness sexy and hot. I can't stand it.

10. Clary is pathetic.

11. Jace is willing to commit incest!

12. This series was supposed to be a trilogy. Now it has 6 books.

13. Jace's dickhead-ness is OK because he had a hard knock life. Shut up no one loves you!!

14. This entire series pretty much started out as HP fanfic. I don't like published fanfic.

15. Pretty much everything annoyed me.

I think these things will help you figure out how I feel about these characters.

Overall, this series is a trainwreck and it's been fun watching everything fall apart. As much as I cannot stand this author and this series. I think I'll end up reading the rest of the series. It's so funny and I can't take it seriously. I almost bought one of Clare's books at a bookstore before I started the series. I'm so happy that I didn't buy it.

SPOILER ALERT!
Masque of the Red Death - Bethany Griffin

This book has a kind of slow start. After a little bit of world-building, everything starts to make more sense. I thought that it was really cool that Ms. Griffin was able to sort of make this a retelling/story connected to Poe's Masque of the Red Death.

At first, I was team Will. It seemed like they had more chemistry than Araby had with Elliot. He also seemed like a great guy because he took care of his much younger siblings and did everything he could to keep them safe. Araby got along with them really well, so that was good. I wasn't so much team Elliot because it seemed like he was just using her and didn't really have feelings for her. But at the end of the book, I changed teams.

Will turned out to be a liar and wasn't as great as he seemed. Elliot admitted that he actually did love Araby and wanted to be with her. It made me so sad! I really wanted to love Will, but I can't anymore. But Elliot seems nice. He better stay this way!!!

Araby

She isn't as loud as other characters. She prefers to keep the herself and not go out a lot. She feels terrible that she lived and her twin brother, Finn, died. She knows that everyone loved him more. I felt bad for her. I just wanted her to be happy but I felt like she was always lied to.

April

Araby's best friend that has the opposite personality. She's loud and outgoing and loves to go out. Although she can be kind of off in her own world, she really cares about Araby.

Will

When I met him, I fell in love. He just seemed so sweet and caring and I just wanted to hug him. Guess it was a lie because he wasn't telling Araby the truth.

Elliot

At first I didn't really like him, but now I do. I thought he was just using Araby, but he really does love her and he wants her to be safe.

Overall, this book started off slow, but I loved it. I thought that it was such a cool concept and I can't wait to read the sequel. Maybe Will will redeem himself. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see...

SPOILER ALERT!
Angelfire - Courtney Allison Moulton

Before I started this book, I was really excited. It's set in a town in Michigan, not to far from where I live. I thought that was cool. Not too many books are set here. But there was a downside. It was set in one of the wealthy neighborhoods near Detroit. And because of that, Ellie was shallow and annoying.

During a lot of the book, she talks about designer clothing and going to parties with her friends.

BOOORRRRIIIINNGGGGGG!

She was totally cool that Will, the guy who was trying to get her to remember her past self, was following her around and interested in her. But she couldn't stand him when he wanted her to actually try.

I don't think I say much more. I know I gave it a high score, but that's because it was a great idea and I think that the series can get better.

Ellie

I could not stand her. I was really excited because she was from Michigan. Sadly, she was from one of the rich cities. Ugh. Stereotypical vain teen.

Will

I wanted to take him away from Ellie. I know he was with her because he was her mentor thing, but he could do so much better.

Overall, I had high hopes and they weren't really filled. I want to support a Michigan author, so I'll probably read the rest of the series. I REALLY hope that it gets better.

SPOILER ALERT!
Carrier of the Mark - Leigh Fallon

How should I describe this book? Should I discuss the plot, the characters, the setting?

It's the same book as TWILIGHT!!!!!

Megan = Bella

Adam = Edward

Aine = Alice

Rian = Rosalie/Emmett

Fion = Carlisle

Caitlin = Angela

Jennifer = Jessica

Dad (did he have a name) = Charlie

It follows the same storyline and plot, just with a few changes. Well... two: the names and the place. Unlike Twilight, this book is in Ireland. I was excited for it being in Ireland. I've been there and I loved it. But in this book, it wasn't so good. So sad.

Here is where I would talk about the characters, but I think everyone can take a great guess as to how they are like. So sad. Again.

Overall, this book was meh. If it wasn't so much like Twilight, it could have been better. But it's not. It's really sad. Maybe I'll continue the series. I do want to see how much it stays like Twilight.

SPOILER ALERT!
Tempest Rising - Tracy Deebs

This cover is so pretty. The water in the backgroud is beautiful. I love the colors of the tail and the tattoo. That would be a really cool looking tattoo. And I love the color purple. I want to be a mermaid even more than I did before if I could have that tattoo and tail.

So unlike some paranormal/fantasy books, Tempest is aware that she is part mermaid. She knows that when she turns 17 she will have to choose between the water and land. But she wants nothing to do with being a mermaid. Her mother left her, her two little brothers, and her father 6 years ago. And she doesn't want to be anything like her mother. She likes her life on land with her family, friends, and boyfriend, Mark. But everything changes when Kona shows up.

Kona was sent by Tempest's mother to keep an eye on her. But he isn't a merman, he's a selkie. They eventually form feelings for each other, even though Tempest is still with Mark. When Tempest and Kona are on the beach, Kona gets attacked and taken away. Tempest follows him and finds out that it was his brothers that took him. That's when she finds out that he's a selkie and learns about her mother. Tempest refuses to believe this and wants to leave. She stays for a little longer, but still doesn't believe this.

While with Kona, Tempest finds her mother. But not for long because Tempest has to watch her mother be killed. Tempest then learns that her mother left not because she wanted to or that the ocean kept calling her, but because she had to take care of the tribe she came from. Tempest decides to go home and try to lead a normal life. After being home for a few weeks, she decides that she made the wrong choice and goes back to the ocean. On the way to the beach, she runs into Kona and they jump into the ocean.

Tempest

I wish there was more of her painting in the book. She only talks about how she loves it, but I think it would have been cool if she painted something during the book. But I liked her pretty well. She really cared about her family and didn't want to leave them. That's why she didn't want to become a mermaid, even though she could feel the water calling for her.

Kona

He was sort of the nice bad boy. He was kind of a bad boy because he was flirting with Tempest while she was with Mark, but he was really nice because he genuinely cared about her. I also do like tall, dark, and handsome boys.

Mark

There wasn't a whole lot of him, but I sorta felt bad for him. I mean, his girlfriend is gone for two weeks and when she comes back, she's distant. Maybe he can be happy with Chelsea the Cheerleader.

Cecily

Tempest's mother. I don't think that she should have died so soon. I would've liked to hear her side of the story for leaving her family and how much it hurt her.

Tempest's Father

He believes that Cecily will come back to him and his family. He keeps his hopes up, but they are later crushed after Tempest tells him that she is dead.

Overall, this book was great and I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy! I'm happy that this mermaid book didn't let me down!

SPOILER ALERT!
Enchanted Ivy - Sarah Beth Durst

When I read the synopsis, I thought it was so original. I mean, how many books are about the magical, parallel world to an Ivy league college? Instead of werewolves, there are were-tigers. I think that's cooler.

I loved Lily's dedication to her mom. She refused to leave her mother's side and only left her because her mother told her to. Sure she was interested in a couple boys she met, but she didn't become obsessed with them. She was working on passing the Legacy Test.

This book was really fast paced, which I think was good since it was a stand alone. I think that the book ends really nicely, but it would be cool if there was a short story or something to see how Lily is doing at Princeton, how Lily's parents met, or how Tye and Jake's mother ended up to two very different men.

Lily

She wants to go to Princeton and will do anything to get in. So when she has to pass the Legacy Test, she is determined to pass. But she's also wants to keep her mother and grandfather happy.

Tye

He's all mysterious, but he isn't a bad boy. And that's a nice change. He really cared about Lily, even though she was not too sure about him. And he didn't just leave her hanging. He helped her.

Jake

He was OK. He was really narrow-minded and didn't believe that his grandpa could be wrong. He eventually learns and becomes more open to that thought of magical creatures.

Rose, Lily's Mom

At the beginning of the book, we learn that she has to take medicine and is a little off. But we learn that she is part of the other Princeton world. She then goes back to the other Princeton and is able to think clearly again.

Lily's Grandpa

I felt bad for him. He thought he was part of a good group of people, but he wasn't. His best friend is trying to kill everyone magical, including his granddaughter and daughter-in-law.

Jake's Grandpa

At the beginning, I thought he was nice old man. Turns out that he's not. He wants to kill every magical creature, including Lily and her mother. He's even willing to have his own grandson by killed to get what he wants.

Overall, this book was good for a stand alone. I was worried as I haven't read too many stand alones, but this one was good. I hope to read more books by Ms. Durst.

SPOILER ALERT!
Hex Hall - Rachel Hawkins

Even though the green dress in kinda plain, I still think it's cute. The cat made me all excited, but then there wasn't really any mention of a cat in the book. So sad. But other than the lack of cat(s), I still loved this book. I really liked the mixture of witches/warlocks, fairies, werewolves, and vampires.

So Sophie is a half-witch. But she doesn't know anything about how to control or use her powers, and that usually gets her into trouble. She gets sent to a boarding school full of magical beings. While there, she meets Jenna, the only vampire that goes there. Jenna is a little, pink obsessed, hyper, lesbian vampire. And I love her. She is my new favorite supporting character. Although I don't share a love of pink or prefer girls, I felt like I could somehow connect with her. Maybe cause we're both weird.

She also meets some other dark witches that want Sophie to join their coven. They all end up dead, not Sophie, after trying to raise a demon. Oops! She gets close to Archer Cross, a warlock, after getting detention with him. However, he's dating Elodie, one of the girls in the coven. Yet he and Sophie get REALLY close and make out at one point. She then finds out that he's an Eye, a group of people trying to kill witches and other magical beings and he runs away.

Sophie

A witch that doesn't know how to control her powers, she has often felt different and hasn't been close with people. She is the only one that believes Jenna is innocent when everyone thinks she hurt other students.

Jenna

My new favorite supporting character. She was so funny but also had a really sensitive side. I was so happy when she met another vampire and was able to start a relationship with her.

Archer

Sure he's all hot and bad boyish, but I didn't like him that much. I mean, he was lying to Sophie and everyone else. He could've gotten them hurt or killed. Nope, I prefer Cal.

Elodie

She's like the Regina George of the coven. She's the leader and the meanest. She's also determined to make Sophie unhappy. At the end of the book, she dies after trying to summon a demon.

Cal

He's the groundskeeper at Hecate Hall. We find out in the next book that he is betrothed to Sophie.

Overall, this book was great! It's a lot better than some magical boarding school books that I've read recently! I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy!

SPOILER ALERT!
Everneath - Brodi Ashton

I read mostly good to great reviews about this book, so I had really high hopes. The cover was also beautiful and the idea sounded cool. Fortunately this book didn't let me down. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I had to find out what happened next!

I was a little confused at points when I was trying to connect what happened and what was happening. But the entire time I felt so bad for Nikki. She regrets running to Cole and wishes she never did that. Because of what she did, she can't be with her family, friends, or boyfriend. When she comes back after the six months of being gone, everything has changed. Her best friend doesn't know how to interact with Nikki, her boyfriend wants to reconnect but doesn't know how to, and her family (father and little brother) want sher to stay. But she can't, she only has six months and then she has to leave again.

Nikki

She meets Cole through some of her friends. She's sort of attracted to him, but isn't interested. But she runs to him because she thinks that Jack, her boyfriend, is cheating on her. He tells her that he can get rid of the pain, so she follows him to the Everneath, the underworld. When she wakes up after six months, she regrets everything she had done. She runs away from Cole to go back home. But he follows her home and tells her that she has to come back to him in six months. When she has to go back, Jack sacrifices himself so she doesn't have to go.

Jack

I had a love-hate relationship with him. Sometimes he'd want to fix his relationship with Nikki, and then he wouldn't want to talk to her. But at the end of the book he shows that he really does care by sacrificing himself to save her.

Cole

I also had a love-hate relationship with him, too. It seemed like he really did care about Nikki, but it also seemed like he was using her at times. He wanted her so he could become more powerful.

Overall, I thought it was great. It showed the pain that Nikki was going through when she was just trying to be happy. It also shows the consequences of what she did and how she's trying to make everything better. It also helps that the cover is beautiful and I REALLY want that dress!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Dearly, Departed: A Zombie Novel - Lia Habel

The thing that I really loved about this book was that it was historical and futuristic at the same time. It's set in the year 2195, almost 200 years from now, but it's a Victorian setting. It's not set in London like a lot of Victorian inspired books, but in South America. There's a long story as to why everyone is living there, but you should read the book for yourself to find out!

I loved Nora from the beginning. She wasn't afraid to get into arguments with a mean classmate and stand up for her not as wealthy best friend. She also doesn't get along with her aunt, who is her guardian because both of her parents are dead. She aunt wants her to think about getting married, but Nora doesn't want to think about it at all.

When she's home alone one night, she gets attacked by a mob of evil zombies. Good zombies come and save her. While she is staying with them, she learns that her father has helped them and that he is still alive. During this time, she meets the man who saved her. His name is Bram, is 16, a soldier, and very close with her father. He's also dead. Or UNdead.

Nora

I thought she was great! She wasn't afraid to be different and not be like everyone else. I could tell that she had feelings for Bram, she just didn't know how to handle them because he's dead. I loved how she cared so much for Pamela and wouldn't let anyone hurt her.

Bram

I felt bad for him. Wolfe hated him and he really cared for Nora but had to wait until she felt comfortable around the zombies. But he was patient and waited until he was ready. I swooned over him. He was so cute and sweet!

Pamela

She was a great best friend. She and Nora were always attached at the hip and looked out for each other. When Nora went missing, she never gave up hope when everyone else believed that Nora was probably dead.

Victor

I also felt bad for him. He had to pretend that he was dead and not make any contact with his daughter, Nora. He was also partly responsible for his wife's death. He did everything he could do to protect Nora, yet she still got attacked by the evil zombies.

Wolfe

I wanted to hit him! He acts like he's all trustworthy and then sells everyone out and tries to kill all the zombies, good and bad. He even tries to kill Victor and wants to kill Nora!

Vespertine

She's the classic mean girl. She comes from rich family and is rude to everyone. She has an interesting back story, but she's still mean.

Michael

He's only discussed because he's a douche. He makes Pamela believe that he's interested in her and then he admits that he likes Nora. I was happy when Pamela pushed him into a lake.

Overall, I fell in love with this book immediately. It was still similar to many young adult paranormal books, yet it was also very different. I can't wait to read the sequel! I heard that there will be a third book, but then I later heard that it would likely not happen.

SPOILER ALERT!
The Katerina Trilogy, Vol. I: The Gathering Storm - Robin Bridges

I've discussed my love for all things Russian, so I had high hopes for this book. Imperial Russia, zombies, I was in love! I got a little worried while reading the book. There were some slow points, but they did pick up! Zombies/undead were brought up pretty soon. We learn about how Katerina first got her necromancer powers and how she's scared of them.

I could tell right away that there was going to be a love triangle, but I was totally cool with it for once. Usually it's just two hot guys, but this one had one guy representing good and the other evil. It shows how Katerina could use her powers for good and protect the Imperial family, or use them to hurt others and join a family of vampires. There were so many twists and turns that it was sometimes hard for me to predict what would happen next!

Katerina

I thought she was a great character. Although I didn't always agree with the choices she made, she always made these choices with the safety of her friends and family in mind. I loved her attitude. She wasn't afraid to make other people mad.

George

At first he's repulsed by Katerina's necromancing powers, but he eventually grows to love her. Plus he's a son of the Tsar, so that's not too shabby.

Danilo

The other boy in the love triangle, he's the one that represents all things dark and evil. He's the son of a far off country's king and will soon become a vampire. His younger sister, Elina, who is Katerina's age, sets her and her brother up. He pretends to love Katerina, but only is interested in her for her powers.

Elina

Although her brother is a vampire, she and the rest of her sisters and witches. She uses various spells and potions to hurt others and get what she wants.

Dariya

Katerina's cousin and best friend. When she learns about Katerina's powers, she is completely accepting and doesn't find her repulsive. She is also against Katerina's relationship with Danilo, as his sister, Elina, poisoned and almost killed herself.

Overall, this book was great and was gave me a Russia fix! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Die for Me (Revenants) - Amy Plum

I loved how this book had a pretty different setting than most. A lot of Young Adult books are set in the US, so it was cool that this one was located in Paris, the city of LERVE!!

This book was kinda slow at the beginning. It was sad, though. Kate's parents just died so she had to move to Paris with her older sister to live with their grandparents. So just kinda mopes around d goes to cafes and museums to read. Whereas her sister goes out to crazy parties. To each her own.

Then Kate meets Vincent. I love that name. She thinks he's hot, but she's put off by him. He kind of acts like a dick, so she ignores him. She sees him a few more times. Then stuff happens and they become close. Once Kate gets to know Vincent, she finds out that he's actually a nice guy. Then she finds out that he's a revenant, which is pretty much a zombie.

Georgia, Kate's sister, ends up dating another revenant. But he's a bad guy. There's so crazy fighting and people almost die and I start getting slightly emotional because Kate and Georgia get really close to dying! But everything ends up fine so I'm happy.

Kate

She's the shy and reserved one of the two sisters. She usually thinks things through. It also takes her longer to cope with the fact that her parents are dead. When she meets Vincent and his friends, she starts to become happier. It just wasn't too good for her when she almost died.

Vincent

I swooned over him a lot. I mean, a supernatural, French, hot guy? What's not to love? I think that's all I need to say.

Georgia

She was more carefree and trusting. There's nothing wrong with that, but she almost got killed. But she did choose a bad guy, so maybe she would have been safer if she chose a different guy.

Overall, this book was great! I heard mixed reviews and a lot of comparisons to Twilight, but I didn't really pay attention to the similarities because this book was muh better. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

SPOILER ALERT!
Across the Universe - Beth Revis

I realized after reading this that the two dark shapes are peoples faces. I thought that they were just two dark masses. After realizing that, I thought that the cover was even more beautiful.

I was worried that I not like this book because there were a lot of science fiction elements in it, but I loved it. I couldn't put the book down. I had to keep reading.

So Amy and her family are frozen so they can start a new life on a newly discovered planet. They reason they are frozen is because it will take 300 years to get there. However, Amy gets unfrozen early. Fifty years too early. She's confused and lonely and doesn't know what to do. She wants to unfreeze her parents, but everyone won't let her. Or at least the people who talk to her won't let her. Most of the people on the ship think Amy is a freak with her red hair, green eyes, and pale skin. Everyone on the ship has brown hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. The only people who accept her are Elder, the next in line to lead the ship, and Harley, his artist friend.

There were so many twists and turns so there was never a boring moment. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning.

Amy

I felt so bad for her. She was lonely and confused and could barely trust anyone. Then when she gets close to Elder, she feels that it's only because he's the only one her age. But she was still able to stay strong and wasn't always too naive.

Elder

He's the next in line to lead the ship. Although he has friends, he feels alone. Everyone else has their own lives and he's stuck with Eldest. He was so happy when Amy came along. I just wasn't happy though when it's revealed that he was the one to unfreeze her, but he didn't know what he was doing. He was just lonely.

Harley

He's now on the list of favorite supporting characters. I just wish he didn't kill himself. He was so funny and looked after Amy and was a great friend to Elder.

Eldest

I knew from the beginning that he shouldn't be trusted! And I was right!!

Doc

I thought he was gonna be a good guy. But I guess not. I was so dissapointed in him.

Victria

I didn't like her too much. But she was kinda important and I have a feeling that she'll play a bigger role in the next book.

Orion

I didn't trust him either! But I feel so conflicted and confused!

Overall, this was a great book and it kept me turning pages til the very end. I can't wait to read the next book!!

SPOILER ALERT!
Blue Bloods - Melissa de la Cruz

This book took me forever to finish it. I started and finished a couple other books while reading this one. I found a few similarities between this book and City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. And that's not good. Both Schuyler and Clary went to a club in New York when they were 15 with their best friend who is a boy that is secretly in love with them. Both witness a strange paranormal occurance and the boy who is involved in it will become a love interest. During the series Clary's mom falls into a coma. Schuyler's mom had been in a coma since Schuyler was a few months old. Wouldn't the doctors let her die after 15 years? I was so confused by it. But I think I was confused by most of the things in the book.

Me the entire time. Not lying. I had no clue what was happening. I was worried that I missed something. But no, I didn't.

I really need to talk about the nastiness of this book. I'm pretty sure Mimi was in love with Jack. Like, she wanted him to see her lacy bra underneath her sweater. She was also in a relationship with like, a 23 year old Italian guy. She's 16. Umm...

She was quite possibly one of the most annoying and rude characters that has ever been in a book that I've read. I wanted to reach into the pages and squeeze her neck so hard that her head would pop off. She also hated not being the center of attention and didn't like seeing Bliss, her best friend, happy.

Schuyler

She's pretty much the equivilant of Clary, but maybe not so pathetic. She dresses like a hobo even though her family is rich. I know she doesn't have to dress fancy but she should at least wash her hair. Then she suddenly becomes a model and she doesn't need consent from her grandmother to start working. They say she's the new Kate Moss, what a great role model.

Oliver

He's Simon. Secretly in love with his best friend, but she doesn't know about his feelings.

Jack

He was so hot and cold, just like Jace. One minute he's making out with Schuyler and the next he's ignoring her. I was so confused. He thought that he had been looking for her in every single one of his lives, but he was actually chasing after her mom. Awkward.

Mimi

Read what I sad above. I don't want to think about her anymore.

Bliss

I don't know why she felt the need to continue being friends with Mimi. Bliss was nice and sweet and could do so much better than Mimi. I hope she sees the light and becomes her own person.

Overall, this book annoyed me so much. But I feel like I will continue the series. Maybe it will redeem itself. But who knows?

SPOILER ALERT!
Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) - Veronica Rossi

This cover is so pretty. I feel like this style, person walking towards the reader, is used a lot, but it still looks great. I love the colors and how the Aether and twisted thorns are featured on the cover.

I heard so many great reviews for this book and I had such high hopes. And I fortunately wasn't let down. I finished the book in two days, so I must have loved it. I can't think of any things that I didn't like about the book. Everything was great. I loved the characters and I was totally fine with everything that happened. I was just so satisfied with this book and I was so happy that I read it.

Aria

I really liked her. She knew what she wanted to do, which was find her mom. She was kind of naive, but that's because she was used to living her virtual world thing and then actually being outside. It must have been ackward when she got her period.

Perry

I'm in love. He had a large falcon tattoo on his upper back. I love me some sexy tattoos. I want him to be real. I want him to be mine. He's so strong and caring and he needs to be mine.

Roar

I like him, too. He's the same as Perry, but he is really funny. But he's in love with Liv, Perry's sister, so I guess he's happy and I'll let him be with her.

Overall, I loved this book and I can't wait to read the rest of the series. The third book comes out in the being of next year so I'll have to read the next one soon!!
